Film Revisited

December 10, 2013

For my birthday Sam bought me a film scanner, something I’ve wanted forever but never managed to buy. The first day I could I ran through ALL of the negatives I have from when I first got my film SLR on my 16th birthday. Initially I was extremely disappointed in myself, as 90% of the photos are just awful, and I ran through about 200 rolls of film. I’d forgotten that at the time I didn’t have the skills I carry with me now, or the understanding of what photography ultimately meant to me, I just knew I liked the feeling of the shutter going down.

After scanning them in and doing some playful editing I thought I’d share what I dug from my young time capsule.
